We had a fabulous time visiting with family, swimming in lakes, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, going to the beach, eating lobster, jumping off docks, tramps, and paddle boats into lakes, hanging out in a really cute town for a day, jumping in puddles, knitting on the deck, and reading--and I had a blast taking pictures of it all! The weather was perfect the whole time until the last two days when it poured and thunderstormed, but even that felt perfect, too.

Karyn- SO very sorry to hear about the glaucoma- how frightening and exhausting! I have been to the eye doc 6x in the last 2mos, to tweak my prescription for bi-focals. Could not find a happy balance to see both near and far- Harrumph! Not as bad as glaucoma but very frustrating when you can't see. Glad everything is finally ok.
Other than that, sounds like your summer has been great. First... How awesome of a husband you have! Adam deserves big kudos for your b-day surprise(s). What fun. Sure you had a blast!!! (responded to this a month or so ago and pc errorer out as I was finishing.)
Kudos also to Gracie with her new sport..."MP". It sounds fitting for an adventurous little girl. Happy belated B-day to her as well if we did not do so earlier?! Love to sweet Anna as well.
Plan to look at your Maine pics soon. Enjoy the rest of summer. Still reminisce of our Ogden trip in June. Ana still plays with "Samantha" and continues to read the books on a regular basis.
